B-Dry System of New England has been waterproofing Massachusetts and southern New Hampshire basements since 1981, and recent reviews describe exactly what a family-owned operation with decades of installs looks like: a small, familiar crew -- Rey, TJ, Adam, Reynaldo -- showing up on time and doing careful work. When water got into one customer's basement this spring, they chose B-Dry for an interior French drain; Adam worked out a solution at a fair price, and the installation crew, led by Reynaldo, was punctual, made helpful adjustments to improve drainage, and left the site clean throughout. The company's Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration is active, and the Better Business Bureau rates it A+ and lists it as accredited since 1982. In a November 2025 review, one customer described a French drain that was pressure-tested the very next day by a multi-day rainstorm and kept the basement dry through the worst weather they'd seen in a while; another, that same month, had two ocean-adjacent Scituate basements fitted with full systems and dehumidifiers at a fair price. In a February 2026 review, a customer noted that Adam had recently taken over the business from its previous owner and was working to grow it using the company's long-established approach. One thing worth flagging before booking: the BBB's own write-up on the company mentions a complaint about staff attitude that isn't reflected among the reviews quoted here -- worth asking about alongside the otherwise strong record. The company says it uses its own employees rather than subcontractors and serves a wide swath of eastern Massachusetts, from Acton to Boston.
