The company says Craig Bishop and Julie Lawson founded it in 2016, that it works within the Cape Cod Energy Solutions network, and that it is a certified Mass Save partner. The auditors get named more than anyone else. A December 2023 reviewer admitted to being nervous about the audit until Corey, the lead auditor, spent five minutes at the kitchen table walking through the process and the benefits. A January 2024 customer on their third Mass Save audit called this one the best of the three and described a crew where everyone knew their role. In January 2026, a homeowner whose Mass Save weatherization project had just wrapped credited Evan and Corey with explaining each step, leaving the house immaculate, and catching a GFI problem along the way. The mechanical side shows up as well. An August 2024 reviewer had a furnace put in six years earlier and came back for central air and an electric heat pump, calling the prices more than fair. An April 2024 customer said the equipment was exactly as specified, the install team was quick and the office staff easy to reach. A July 2025 reviewer working through a long, complicated weatherization project gave four stars and described dealing with separate insulation, heat pump and plumbing teams. A January 2022 customer said attic and basement insulation plus weatherstripping left the whole house feeling noticeably tighter. One sharp dissent runs against all of that, and it deserves a direct question. In July 2022 a reviewer left one star and wrote that the company pushed fiberglass insulation for the attic over blow-in during the initial audit — after being told the attic was going to be finished — arguing it was simply the more expensive option and the more profitable one for the contractor. If you are being steered toward one insulation type, ask for the reasoning in writing and what the alternative would cost. The stated territory is wide: Cape Cod, the South Shore and the South Coast, from Barnstable and Chatham through Brockton, Bridgewater and Fall River. This is a sensible call for a Mass Save-routed weatherization job where the audit, the air sealing and the equipment all come from one outfit. Confirm what the rebate actually covers, and get the insulation spec and its alternatives on paper before the crew shows up.
