Tim did fantastic work building some custom built-in bookshelves surrounding our fireplace. He worked with us throughout the process to make sure it ended up looking the way we wanted and the final product was perfect. Tim was flexible and professional throughout. The estimate he gave us was accurate and reasonable. I would recommend him to anyone looking for custom woodworking jobs.
Tim did a wonderful job building a composite wood deck, stairs and sliding door on my house. He also coordinated my kitchen remodel. All positive experience, easy to collaborate with, dependable and smart!
Tim is one of the best. I am a kitchen designer and have worked with him on multiple projects. He is smart, skilled, articulate, and has impeccable integrity. And his prices are fair. Hiring a contractor is a challenging. They need to be skilled, yes. But they also need to communicate well. They need to help you anticipate. They must manage your expectations. They need to explain options objectively and respect your perspective. Tim does all these things in addition to being a highly experienced and skilled carpenter/installer/GC. I recommend him often and enjoy working with him.
I was referred to Tim by my sister-in-law and am very happy to have taken her advice. Tim was great to work with and I would highly recommend him to others in need of a contractor. We did a gut renovation of our kitchen and it ran very smoothly thanks to Tim and his crew. Tim was responsive and sensitive to our needs.
I have used Barnard Woodworks for numerous residential projects over the past 4 years. The projects have ranged from a third floor renovation, to installing custom shelves and molding, to hanging interior doors. I have consistently been pleased with the quality of the work, Tim's professionalism, and the timeliness of completing each project. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Tim to friends and I definitely plan to hire him in the future.
