In its own description, BatGuys specializes in animal control, especially the removal of bats, with other wildlife removal services for grey and flying squirrels, raccoons and skunks. A 2023 Google review of a bat exclusion reads in part: "That evening my husband and I sat in the back yard and watched bats exit our attic one by one and laughed knowing they would not be able to get back in." In that 2023 review, Rob came out to do the bat exclusion and spent 3-4 hours doing a full inspection and patching up every potential entry point. In another 2023 review of bats in an attic, Rob came out quickly after the first call and helped explain the issues; the plan was to first exclude the bats with 1-way traps, then, when the weather cooled off, clean out the mess the bats had left behind. In that 2023 account, the cleanout by Rob and his crew was thorough and complete. In 2024, when a colony of bats was discovered during work on a chimney, Matt came out the next day, inspected the whole house, set up one way doors and advised the chimney workers on how to remove his work. In 2025, after a bat was seen in an attic one night, Matt was quick to respond and came out the next day, and the work was completed within a week. In 2024, at a house with mice, shrew and flying squirrels, Rob came 7+ times over a few months to check traps and fix exclusion work, and did not ask for any payment until the very end. For a mouse problem about 10 years ago, they found the source and were at the house inside and out for a full day closing up entry points; in 2026 the customer wrote that there were still no issues. A 2015 ecori.org article described Matt Grady, owner of BatGuys Wildlife Service, as having collected bats from attics and chimneys across Rhode Island and eastern Massachusetts for almost two decades. A 2022 wickedlocal.com piece said Grady had been working in the field for about 20 years helping people keep bats out of their homes in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. In 2026, a customer who had them for bat removal said the price was the highest of all checked, nearly 40% higher than the second highest; the initial work was careful and a 3-yr warranty was claimed, but "they basically disappeared after the 1st service." BatGuys holds an A+ grade from the BBB.

We had them for the bats removal. Their price is the highest among all we have checked, nearly 40% higher than the 2nd highest. Their initial work was indeed careful and claimed 3-yr warranty. However, they basically disappeared after the 1st service.
I used these guys about 10 years ago for a mouse problem. Unlike exterminator services, they found the source and eliminated the problem permanently without a long term contracts with poison. They were at my house inside and out for a full day closing up entry points. Still going strong 10 years later, no issues
We had a great experience with BatGuys! I contacted Matt after seeing a bat in my attic one night and he was quick to respond and came out the next day. He was very honest about what needed to be done and we felt like his pricing was fair. He put together a quote for us and the work was completed within a week. I’m happy to say we are now bat free and I would definitely recommend him to anyone with the same issue.
I reached out to Matt from the Bat Guys to help diagnose a potential bat or bird issue in my chimney. He was quick to respond, prompt for the appointment time and very knowledgeable in explaining the difference between bats and chimney swifts and why it was one not the other. I highly recommend Matt and he will be my first call for related services in the future.
Matt was awesome! Very knowledgeable and had to come out 3 times to make sure he properly cared for the juvenile bats... Can't say enough
