Bath World of Boston sells one thing, and sells it hard: the old tub out, a new shower in, usually inside a day. The company works from the Bradford end of Haverhill with a second location in Pembroke, and BBB records put it at eight years in business with eight employees, also trading as Bath Planet of Boston and Bath World LLC. The paperwork is in order. Its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration, number 200754, is active in the state registry, and the BBB has it accredited since December 2023 with an A+ grade. The review record runs deep for a company this size — 132 Google ratings averaging 4.9, and 112 reviews across three sources going back to 2021. The theme that repeats is the one-day promise being kept: crews on the doorstep when they said, the job finished the same day, floors covered and the bathroom left clean. A lot of the work is accessibility-driven, and customers writing about parents in their eighties and nineties are a recurring presence. The counterweight is a single strongly negative review, and it is specific enough to be worth reading in full before you sign. Its complaints are not about the acrylic unit itself but about what happens around it — finish trim left incomplete, patching left to the homeowner, and shower plumbing a second plumber later called wrong. One complaint among a hundred-plus is not a pattern, but it points at the seam in any fast-install model. If you want a walk-in shower for someone who is finding the tub wall too high, and you want it done by a registered, BBB-accredited company with a long paper trail, this is a straightforward fit. Pin down exactly what the price covers at the edges — trim, patching, painting, plumbing tie-ins — and get it in the contract rather than the conversation.

Nicole personally met with us to discuss the bathroom remodel. Her professionalism and knowledge helped us making the right decision and choices for our project. She was always in contact and responsive throughout the project. She had a very warm and caring personality. I highly recommend her and this company. Tommy also provided us with personal service regarding the window replacement. He measured and installed the window with ease. He was also very professional and took care in helping us.

Do not hire them to do your bathroom. Their contractors are hacks. They didn’t install the filler strip for my new vanity so there’s just a gap between where the cabinet ends and the wall. They cut multiple holes for the light fixture and didn’t fill the holes left them for the painter I had to hire to fix because they don’t provide a painter. Worst of all the plumbing the did in my shower is wrong. I have an issue where my shower head leaks when you run the tub and had them out to fix it but they made it worse. I called a real plumber and he told me the contractor used the wrong type of pipe and they’d have to cut the wall open to fix it properly. On top of all this the head contractor is a jerk and raised his voice at me on multiple occasion's. Would never recommend them.. what an awful experience.

Absolutely love our new bathroom. Guil and his crew were amazing and their attention to detail is unbelievable. Below is a before after picture, but it’s even better in person! Thank you Nath Planet!
