Baylies Insulation

A 1940 house in Rhode Island, a RISE Engineering proposal that left out attic ventilation, and an installer named Aaron who caught the gap and got the change approved within an hour: that is a December 2022 Google review of Baylies Insulation, an Assonet insulation and air-sealing company that a number of reviewers reached through the Mass Save and RISE energy programs. The crew finished the 1,300-square-foot house in a day, and Aaron came back to install the roof vents from outside. Google shows 4.9 stars from 74 ratings. Its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration (#195539) is active on the state registry. Customers name their crews, from John and James in 2023 to Aaron, Ryan and Adam in 2024, and several mention the crew cleaning up. The jobs are attics, walls, basements and crawlspaces. In an April 2024 review, a customer described air sealing of the basement rim joists and attic, a fully insulated attic, and insulation under and over a porch. A September 2024 customer said Baylies fit them into a last-minute cancellation for attic, crawlspace and basement work. A December 2022 reviewer whose house was built in the 1800s said it was checked and blown in within the week. In a July 2023 review, the crew noticed bathroom vents that weren't properly attached and fixed them. A January 2026 Google reviewer wrote "Terrible service overpriced and slow." A June 2023 BuildZoom reviewer who was otherwise pleased said a courtesy call or email to confirm the appointment would have helped.
