O2 Clean Breathing Inc

A homeowner whose Mitsubishi mini-splits had just been cleaned by another company — incorrectly enough that the units were still molded — called O2 Clean Breathing to sort it out, and wrote in a June 2026 review that Bairo came as soon as he could. It was not the only rescue job: in an October 2024 review, a customer described going through a different remediation company first and being left with a more toxic situation. O2 Clean Breathing works out of Chelsea, and its own site describes it as an air duct cleaning, mold remediation and water damage restoration company covering Boston and the Greater Boston area. A dozen of the reviews name Bairo, and several describe him arriving with a partner or a small crew. Customers give the company a 5-star average across 66 Google ratings and 4.9 across 75 on Thumbtack. The bread and butter is ducts, vents and HVAC cleaning. A June 2026 customer had baseboard heaters cleaned that apparently hadn't been touched in 20+ years, and noted the furniture was moved carefully and the whole house vacuumed on top of the job. Another, in April 2026, needed a dryer duct done after moving into a new home, got a call back right away and was squeezed in the same day. The mold work is the heavier half. An April 2026 bathroom job began with water damage and mold already present; the customer wrote that they cleaned and dried everything, removed the mold, and explained and documented the process from beginning to end. An August 2026 remediation covered an attic and a basement alongside the HVAC system, the air ducts and the dryer. In May 2026, a Revere homeowner had a vapor barrier installed, the HVAC cleaned and a crawlspace insulated and sealed on a time-sensitive schedule — quoted quickly, with the work starting in about a week. In a January 2026 review, a returning customer hired the company again for mold remediation and wrote that the musty, moldy smell was gone. Several reviewers talk about price. The Revere customer found the quote more reasonable than all the other quotes he collected; an October 2025 review called the pricing straightforward with no hidden costs; a July 2026 customer called the job an investment that was worth it for the quality of the work. Its Better Business Bureau page carries an A+ grade and lists BBRS license #210639, and the company's own site lists NORMI, PMII and CMRI mold credentials. For a duct or dryer-vent cleaning, or for mold found behind a leak or in a crawlspace, this is a small crew that arrives when it says it will and cleans up behind itself. Get the scope and the number in writing before they start, and if your job is an inspection rather than a cleaning, ask which of those certifications covers it.
