BayState Air, Inc. is a Burlington mechanical contractor working HVAC service and repair, preventative maintenance, and construction management for commercial, industrial and larger residential clients across Massachusetts. The company says it started in 2007 out of a Medford office, moved to Stoneham in 2012, and settled into its current Burlington headquarters in 2020 — a self-reported 19 years in the trade. Google puts its rating at 3.4 stars from five ratings, and the two written reviews on hand pull in different directions. A January 2026 review thanked a technician for stopping to hold the door for a customer on a walker who was recovering from surgery — a small gesture that says something about how the crew treats people on site. In a 2023 review, a customer instead reported a company vehicle tailgating aggressively and nearly causing an accident on the highway — a road-safety complaint that has nothing to do with the mechanical work itself but is worth knowing about. With only a handful of ratings and no independent accounts of an actual HVAC job, there isn't much yet to judge the work itself on. Worth asking for recent commercial or residential project references before booking anything larger than a routine service call.
I would just like to reach out to your company and thank your technician truck 25 for holding the door open for me as I had surgery and was using a walker very professional and caring once again thank you so much
Absolutely unprofessional behavior whilst driving. Tailgating extremely close to the point where I could see the drivers face (barely 10 ft away) and an accident was almost caused on a highway where everyone was going 80+ mph and there was no room to merge out. The driver (white male) was extremely aggressive and displayed no decorum. This is extremely unbecoming and reflects very poorly on the business as a whole. Next time, make sure you don't endanger other people's lives while driving your company vehicle. Disgusting.
