Baystate Mold Advisors LLC

Baystate Mold Advisors is a Brockton company built around mold inspection and indoor air quality testing; its website also lists foundation crack repair and mycotoxin, VOC, asbestos and water testing. The company says it has served Brockton and surrounding communities since 2016 under Al Hall, a certified mold professional it says has done environmental testing since 2008. On Google it carries 5 stars from 122 ratings. One recent customer said Al assessed issues in the attic, walked through what caused them and what remediation should look like, and sent a vermiculite sample off for asbestos testing. That customer said he followed up with a report and pictures and called the bill more than reasonable. A recent customer who had called on Al two times said he came to look at their basement. A 2026 customer said Al came out in less than 24 hours with every tool needed to diagnose a home. A 2026 reviewer wrote that two types of testing were offered without any push. A 2025 customer said Al came the Monday after a Friday call and that the lab analysis and report were completed within 24 hours. That 2025 reviewer also wrote that instead of running an additional test that would have cost more, Al showed how to buy it on Amazon. A 2025 customer said Al spent over 4 hours making sure every space in the house was examined. A 2025 caller said mold was confirmed over the phone from what they described, rather than through a paid visit. A 2022 customer with a 100-year-old home said Al came by after a questionable smell and gave affordable, common-sense solutions to the issues he saw.
