Baystate Rug and Flooring

A returning carpet customer described coming back to Baystate Rug and Flooring roughly 40 years after an earlier installation. In their April 2025 Google review, they praised both jobs and said the latest living-room carpeting looked good, with prompt, friendly, professional service. Based in Chicopee, Baystate sells flooring products including hardwood, carpet, vinyl, tile and laminate. Its website offers free estimates and names Springfield, Holyoke, South Hadley, West Springfield and other nearby towns among its service areas. Google gives it 4 stars from 24 ratings. An August 2026 reviewer praised Joe's flooring knowledge, the selection and prices, and said staff helped without trying to upsell or force a sale. Other accounts describe different purchases and installations: in March 2025, a customer reported that Baystate replaced flooring in two areas of an Easthampton office and praised the team's punctuality and professionalism. In November 2024, another customer said a cash-and-carry Pergo LVP order came within a week at a price they liked. Pricing drew a different response in an October 2025 review: that customer called prices exceptionally high and described limited hours, while saying staff were responsive once they walked in. Baystate Rug Distributors, inc.'s Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration, number 200159, is expired.
