BuildZoom records $2,000,000 of liability cover with Progressive Casualty and $100,000 of workers compensation with Zurich-American. The permit trail says a lot about scale. Six residential jobs from 2023 to 2025: a gutted Cambridge bathroom with a new alcove tub and tile, eleven first-floor replacement windows in Cambridge, a Newton Highlands basement finished as an art room in metal stud with closed-cell foam, a gas fireplace insert in Melrose, a $7,828 Mendon patio door and rotted sun-room trim repair, and a Blackstone basement turned into a mudroom, bonus room and 3D-printing room. Small, careful, varied work — though the Houzz profile puts typical jobs at $50,000 to $750,000, a range those permits do not reach. The company's own pitch is energy performance: "bringing high performance comfort to your home... by incorporating energy efficient systems." It is also a ThermaTru certified installer. One review is one review, however good. If the fit sounds right for a fussy older house, ask for two or three recent references and pin down which end of that quoted price range your job lands in.
