I contacted Ben in 2024 to look at my granite front steps which were loose and in need of repointing. He came the next day, and from our discussion, I knew I had the right person to do the job. He wanted to lift the steps and replace the mortar underneath, but was affraid that one step may break in half due to the conditions. As I didn't want that to happen, I asked that he repoint the steps only (against his wishes) and we'll go from there. Fast forward to now, his prognosis was spot on, and he came back after my call again for help. This time we did what he wanted to do originally (the step did not crack) and everything is solid now. Ben is a perfectionist and is a pleasure to work with.

Our brick and bluestone front stairs needed repair and cleaning. Ben came over, estimated the job and came the next day to do the job. The stairs were power washed and then the repairs were done. The next day Ben returned and gave the stairs an acid wash. We are very pleased with the end result and enjoyed working with Ben. We recommend Ben the Mason for your masonry work.
