I hired Big Guy Movers to help me move into a new apartment across town. I selected them Eva had they were the cheapest option I could find on short notice for a 9/1 move in Boston (the most stressful/expensive time of the year in the city). This was my first time hiring movers and I was a little nervous but I made sure to ask questions about the business and speak to them on the phone to ensure everything was legit. After my research I felt confident in hiring them. Overall, for the price I couldn’t complain too much. They arrived a bit late but that was likely due to the drive from their location to mine on the biggest moving day of the year. The movers were friendly and efficient packing up my one rooms worth of stuff. The truck was huge, way bigger than I honestly needed for my rooms worth of stuff. They made a quick pit stop to get gas and drive to my next address. All in all I think it took a little under two hours to get everything out of my old room and in to the new room. My only complaint as they didn’t wrap my mattress up to protect it all around which left some pretty big dirt stains on it. I messaged the company and they reimbursed me a bit for the damage. Now I know in the future to wrap the mattress myself to make sure it doesn’t get dirty. You can see where the mattress touched the floor in one of the pictures I added. All in all, the rest of my stuff was perfectly fine and the experience it self was painless and it was nice to not have to worry too much about moving my stuff in. I would recommend this service for moving short distances on a budget.

PERFECT! We had a two person team and they moved all of our boxes from our old place to a storage unit (in town) in less than 3 hours. Completely professional and punctual, exactly what we needed, best price in town. Would gladly hire them again and recommend to others.
