Ask Raimond's customers what they remember and the answer is usually the wrapping. A June customer moving from Boston out to the MetroWest towns said the crew bundled his things "like Egyptian mummies" — and that same care for blankets, tape and doorframes runs through nearly every recent review. The Dedham company holds a 4.8 across 173 Google ratings and another 4.8 from 94 on Thumbtack. According to a trade directory, the business was started by Raimond Gertsev and Dmitry Kaltsou, and an industry listing from 2024 described it as roughly seventeen years in business. The review history backs up the longevity: 107 reviews spread from 2021 through 2026 across four different sources, a deeper paper trail than most local moving outfits carry. Nineteen of those reviews landed in the last six months, and none were negative. Three themes repeat. Crews show up when they said they would. Belongings come through intact — reviewers keep noting furniture disassembled and put back together, floors and walls papered over before anything heavy moves. And the money lands where it was quoted; one April customer put it flatly, saying they charge what their guaranteed estimate says. The repeat business is the more telling number. A striking share of recent reviewers are on their second, third or fourth move with the company, including one who had them unload Pods at a storage warehouse into a truck and then into a house — the kind of awkward, multi-leg job people only hand to a crew they already trust. On the interstate side, a trucking-industry registry page lists DOT number 1797448 and MC number 720415 filed with the FMCSA, with no complaints recorded for 2026, and Thumbtack's profile shows an interstate moving license along with a background check on the company's president. Movers aren't licensed like construction trades in Massachusetts, so there's no state contractor registration to check here — but those DOT and MC numbers come from listings rather than from any registry check of ours, so ask for them directly if your move crosses a state line. The few low ratings in the longer history are worth knowing about, and they're notable for what they are: complaints about street access and reaching the office, not about broken furniture or a bill that ballooned. Nothing in the recent stretch repeats them. Raimond's is the straightforward call for a Boston-area household move where careful packing and a price that doesn't move matter more than the lowest hourly rate. Get the inventory and estimate in writing — their quoting process is something reviewers single out as easy — and if you're heading out of state, confirm the DOT registration and what valuation coverage comes with it before booking.

Raimond's Movers were fantastic. I chose them based on their excellent reviews and they did not disappoint. They were on-time, professional, very polite, efficient, clearly knew what they were doing, and fast, despite it being a hot summer day. My move was a short distance but they still took the time and care to protect my stuff appropriately, so none of my furniture showed any signs of damage or markings from the move itself. I have nothing negative to say about the job they did! Would hire them again in a heartbeat.

Excellent experience from start to finish. The team arrived on time, worked efficiently, and handled all of our belongings with care. They quickly packed, moved, and reassembled our furniture, making the entire process smooth and stress-free. The crew was professional, friendly, and communicated well throughout the move. Everything arrived safely with no damage, and they made sure furniture was set up exactly where we wanted it. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable movers.

The guys showed up and were super professional. Juan and the crew were very detailed and careful wrapping out items up like Egyptian mummies. Our move was from Boston to the metro west area and it was efficiently done.
