Bigfoot Waterproofing works out of Haverhill and says on its own site that it has been keeping basements dry since 2011, serving homeowners across Massachusetts and into southern New Hampshire. The jobs are foundation cracks, French drains, sump pumps, crawl spaces, concrete and finished basements, and its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration is active, held in the company's own name.
What customers write about is mostly one person. Tim O'Neil quotes the job himself, answers the phone, and turns up with the crew: a March 2025 reviewer got a next-day visit for basement moisture and noted that the owner was the one who picked up the call; a February 2025 customer had the lifetime, transferable warranty explained line by line; a June 2025 customer said he laid out possible solutions and costs before any work started. In a March 2024 job in Haverhill, the crew installed a new sump pump and a French drain and injected the bulkhead. A January 2025 customer had three foundation cracks hydrogrouted under guarantee. In July 2026, after a water pipe broke in the street and ruined a fieldstone foundation, the crew filled the holes and waterproofed it.
People keep calling them back. One customer hired them a second time for a sewer-penetration leak in May 2025, another had them return in December 2024 to swap in a properly sized dehumidifier, and an October 2024 reviewer said they do not push work that is not needed.
The sour note is a 1-star review from November 2024, from a customer whose first job had gone well: a subcontractor removed and used a cover they had explicitly asked be left alone on an old soapstone sink. Worth knowing who will actually be in your basement, and how the crew is briefed. A Reddit commenter in February 2026 also relayed Bigfoot's diagnosis on their own basement - a slab too thin or failed, needing full replacement along with an interior French drain and sump pump - so if the number that comes back is large, get the reasoning in writing.
For water coming through a foundation, a bulkhead or a basement slab, this is a shop other trades refer work to: one 2025 customer came by way of their electrician, another by their home inspector. Ask what the lifetime warranty covers on your specific repair and whether the crew on your job is in-house.
