The name is the pitch: Bill Shea's Replacement Countertops has been fabricating and installing stone and solid-surface counters out of Quincy since 1952, and that's still what the reviews are about, even when a job starts as a kitchen or bath project. The company reports around 25 employees, with locations in Quincy and Easton. The two most recent reviews, both posted this year, describe the same shape of job: a written quote, a firm start date, and follow-through on both. One repeat customer says Shea's worked around their budget across two separate projects; another had a kitchen redone, then came back about a year later for a master bath. Zoom out and the wider pattern holds — Google rates the business 4.3 from 28 ratings, Angi rates it 4.8 across a similarly sized pool, and reviews on both platforms stretch back to 2007. That longer history isn't spotless. Among Angi's decade-plus archive, at least one account describes a Corian repair that went unresolved, and another flags a mismatch between measured and billed square footage. Separately, a customer quoted on Birdeye describes a material-quality problem that took some back-and-forth with the crew before it got fixed. None of that shows up in the current stretch of reviews, but it's a fair thing to ask about: how they handle a callback once the invoice is settled. The business is also not accredited by the Better Business Bureau, which lists it without issuing a rating of its own. For a straightforward Corian, quartz, or granite countertop swap, the volume and span of positive reviews make a reasonable case. If the job is really a full room renovation rather than the counters themselves, or the square footage math looks off, get it confirmed in writing before the crew starts.

This is the second project I've worked on with these guys. Doreen has been great and very easy to work with. They'll work with your budget and have. A relatively quick turnaround time by industry standards. Definitely would recommend them!

Shea’s made things easy. I explained what I wanted. Shortly thereafter they gave me the written quote. Once we agreed on a start date they sent me a detailed schedule. They renovated my kitchen and then about a year later my master bath.

I’m a commercial truck driver and today I accidentally locked myself out of my truck the staff at this facility were so sweet to me and they went above and beyond with allowing me to use their phones and even made sure I stayed cool since it was a hot day they also gave me bottled water I’ll always remember this and when I purchase my future home I know exactly where I’m going to purchase my countertops…….sincerely thank you so much
