Bilzerian Tree & Land - Tree Removal & Pruning Service, Tree Stump Removal in Vineyard Haven, MA

One thing stands out from the single detailed review on file for Bilzerian Tree & Land: the crew ground several stumps within inches of a customer's garage and prized bushes without damaging either. The company, based in Vineyard Haven, describes itself as family-owned and says it has worked Martha's Vineyard and the surrounding areas for more than 10 years, handling hazardous tree removal, pruning, stump grinding, land clearing and property maintenance. In a 2023 Google review, a homeowner called the crew professional, on-time and respectful, credited them with a careful, clean stump-grinding job near sensitive landscaping, and noted they also moved a fence — all at what the customer called a reasonable price. Google shows the company averaging 5 stars across its small handful of ratings there. In a 2018 interview with the Martha's Vineyard Times, the owner described the company's range of work as hazardous tree removal, vista clearing, brush cutting, stump grinding, bluestone patios and full yard installations — a tree-first shop that also takes on landscaping projects. With only one written review on file, there isn't much of a track record yet to lean on for a bigger job — worth asking for a couple of recent references before booking. This looks like a fit for tree work on Martha's Vineyard that calls for care around existing landscaping — removal, pruning, stump grinding — plus related yard and hardscape projects; confirm current availability and get a written estimate before the crew shows up.
