BKJ Home Services is a West Roxbury handyman shop, and on Angi the same job keeps coming up: furniture assembly. Recent reviews describe a Murphy bed put together well, TV stands mounted, and dressers built "in great timeline" for customers who weren't even home to watch. Across 15 Angi reviews averaging 4.7 stars, 87% are five-star, with people calling the crew fast and professional. In April 2026, a customer who hired them for a Murphy bed called the result sturdy and well made, tipping despite a scheduling slip that pushed the visit back nearly two hours. Worth knowing: an August 2026 review describes a rougher visit — the tech arrived late, finished only part of the job, had to come back the next day, and the customer said a language barrier made communication difficult; that reviewer said they wouldn't hire again. BKJ offers free estimates and lists Spanish as a language spoken, and Angi shows it as an approved pro, though no license number or years-in-business are on record. For small assembly and handyman jobs around West Roxbury, the recent history is mostly strong — worth confirming scheduling and who's being sent out before booking.

The tech was late and only able to complete part of the project, so he had to come back the next day. Work was sloppy and the tech did not speak English so it was impossible to communicate. Would not hire this pro again.
everything was perfect and professional
Very professional and punctual. Communication was excellent! Would definitely hire again. Highly recommend.
I hired BKJ Home Services to assemble my Murphy bed, and the final result came out great. The bed is sturdy, looks exactly how it should, and the workmanship was done really well. However, the timing was a bit frustrating. My original appointment was scheduled for 10:00 AM, then it was pushed to 10:30, and continued to be delayed. The assembler didn't arrive until about 11:57 AM, which caused me to run late for my afternoon plans. Despite the delay, the assembler worked efficiently and completed the job around 2:10 PM, and I did tip because I was happy with the quality of the work. Overall, I would recommend them for the quality of their work, but I do think communication and punctuality could be improved.
They did an awesome job! Very fast and professional.
