Blue Ledge Inc. is an outdoor-living contractor working out of 13 Michael Bennett Road in Brentwood, New Hampshire. Its own site says the company was established in 2003 and specializes in creating outdoor living spaces. The work it lists runs from the soft side to the heavy side of a yard: landscaping and hardscaping, pool surrounds, pool houses and outdoor kitchens, and then brush removal, land clearing, woods clean-up, driveways and drainage. That combination - finish hardscape plus the groundwork and drainage underneath it - is what you would look for on a project that reshapes a whole yard rather than plants one bed. The independent record is thin so far. In July 2026 a neighbour on Nextdoor in Brentwood answered a Portsmouth homeowner's request for a landscaper to rebuild retaining walls, stairs and a patio by pointing them to Blue Ledge and passing on the owner's name and number. It is a genuine unprompted referral, but it is the only outside voice on file - there are no customer reviews here, no dated account of a finished project, and nothing describing price or scheduling. New Hampshire does not register landscapers or general home-improvement contractors, so there is no state licence to look up for this trade. Ask instead for current certificates of liability and workers' compensation insurance, and for photographs and addresses of recent walls, patios or drainage jobs you can go and look at. For a yard project that needs both the hardscape and the excavation and drainage behind it, this is a reasonable outfit to get a bid from - just get the scope, the materials and the drainage detail in writing, and ask how the site will be left between visits.
