BM Flooring Inc. is a Norwood, Massachusetts installer — hardwood, laminate, carpet and vinyl — run by Brandon Mills and operating, per Better Business Bureau, since 2003. The record is mixed and worth reading carefully before hiring. Some customers referred through LL Flooring describe a fast, same-day installation crew and straightforward service; on BBB, one called the crew great. But not everyone referred the same way had the same experience — another BBB reviewer said the company made the store look bad. The negative accounts on Porch are more specific. In a 2021 review, a customer described BM subcontracting an LL Flooring install in Maine where the subcontractor cut partway through a wire powering an outlet and two lights and left quarter-round trim unfinished — and said BM did not return calls or emails about it. A 2020 review described flooring separation four months after an install, plus refinishing issues, with roughly two months needed to get a response through Lumber Liquidators. A 2017 review, unrelated to installed work, described a realtor being ignored by three staff members during a walk-in visit to the office. BM's own listings show licensing history outside Massachusetts worth knowing: a Connecticut home improvement contractor registration and an EPA lead-safe renovation certification that BuildZoom says it verified active, alongside a Pennsylvania registration BuildZoom shows inactive and once cancelled by that state's Attorney General's office, and an unverified Rhode Island registration whose last-seen expiration was April 2021. Massachusetts doesn't require HIC registration for floor-covering-only contractors, so no Massachusetts license being on file isn't unusual for this kind of work. Given the pattern in the complaints — subcontracted installs and slow follow-up when something goes wrong — it's worth asking directly whether your job would be subcontracted and getting a clear commitment on how issues get resolved before signing.

They are contracted to do flooring for LL Flooring in Maine. They subcontracted to another company for the install. During the install the sub inadvertently cut partially through a wire that lowers an outlet and two lights. I sent them an email with photos and have now called twice leaving a detailed message and asking for s call back. They have yet to return the call. I am now I contact with LL Flooring concerning this and they are aware of BM Flooring lack of response. I should mention the sub also failed to complete the 1/4 round in a section of our dinning area. Beware of doing business with this company.
Warning! Deeply disappointed in the BM Flooring. I have had a disappointment time with this company. If Lumber liquidators is using them to install your floors go someplace else. After the install of my floors, 4 months later, I was having issues with flooring separation and notices some poor re-finishing I paid for on top of the new install. I went into Lumber liquidators to ask for them to come look at the floor. They said they would contact BM flooring. 2 months of trying to get a hold of them BM flooring they finally responded after several attempts from myself and Lumber liquidators by email. They asked for a few pictures and would not even come look at the floors. After looking at the pictures they determined they were fine, and not their issues. I asked for someone to come look at it. There response was to wait another month. I have asked to speak to the owner. No response. This is the company motto "no response" to anything that does not give them money. I paid them over 7000 dollars and cannot even get a call back from them. WARNING GO SOME PLACE ELSE.
I am a realtor in the state of Massachusetts. I stopped by this office today to introduce myself and exchange business cards, not that I got a chance to do that, because despite the fact that 3 of the workers there (assuming one of them was a manager or someone of authority sitting at her desk) saw me at their door, NO ONE took it upon themselves to open their door and assist me. This is the poorest customer service I've seen in years. Despicable.
LL Flooring most definitely needs to contract with someone else besides B M Flooring. They make the store look bad.
Worked with BM through LL Flooring and can't see why there are poor reviews as our experience was great. 2 Gentlemen showed up to do our job and were finished within the day.
