Customers describe that exact route this year: a referral at the store on a Tuesday, an estimate on Saturday, a new floor down by the following Saturday. The company works out of Malden and says it is family-owned by Thiago Gontijo, who started in flooring and renovation at 19 and counts more than 20 years at it, with regional project managers — Felipe Cardoso covers Massachusetts and Rhode Island — across Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Hampshire and Maine. Hardwood, laminate, vinyl plank, carpet and tile, plus bathroom, kitchen and basement work. Speed with a named person attached is what customers write about most. One July 2026 homeowner had wood floors installed start to finish in a single day. Another had two flooring jobs done inside three months, both on schedule, one timed to land before a holiday. The reviews name the crews: Erik on estimates and phone calls, Thiago out measuring, Felipe running jobs, Ely and Thales putting in twelve-hour days until a tile job closed out, Westnell and Dirceu on a bathroom. Google shows a 5.0 average across 187 ratings, 30 of those reviews posted in the last six months. The work runs past floors. A homeowner with ice-dam damage to a shower had the rebuild done in June 2026 — backer board, tile and the rest — on Floor & Decor's recommendation. Another had a basement concrete floor leveled in March 2026, then engineered hardwood, new baseboard and stairs finished in matching wood. Kitchen backsplashes come up again and again, including a stone backsplash and a butcher-block countertop in November 2025, and an August 2025 job in a very old house where nothing lined up squarely. Two notes from the reviews. A March 2026 customer whose pattern was more complex to install gave four stars and said Omar was willing to please. Another that month, working through Floor & Decor, said a few details needed adjustment along the way before they were put right. The company's site also says it holds a Massachusetts construction supervisor licence. For installing material you have already bought — vinyl plank, laminate, tile, hardwood — this is a fast, well-organized outfit where someone specific answers the phone. Ask which project manager owns your job and who is coming out to measure before the material is ordered; one June 2026 customer credited the measuring for how little material was wasted.
