BnD Craftsman Tile, working out of Milton Street in Dedham, has built its name on ceramic, porcelain and natural-stone tile work for South Shore kitchens and bathrooms — and the reviews on file keep landing on the same word: craftsmanship. Directories put its age in business at either five years (Better Business Bureau) or eight (Thumbtack); the two don't agree, but both point to a business that's been doing this a while. The tile work is what people write about. A 2022 Google review called it "some of the best tile work I have seen," praising the attention to detail and promising a repeat call for the next project. Similar notes run through Google and Thumbtack reviews from late 2021 — a bathroom-and-kitchen-backsplash job, a bathroom-and-hallway install finished on time, a bathroom-and-basement project that left one family, in their words, "couldn't have been happier." One 2021 Google review came from a self-described general contractor, who vouched for Bruno's team by name and noted that a subcontractor's work reflects on the GC who hired them — a specific kind of trade endorsement that carries weight. A couple of Thumbtack reviews describe bigger scopes than tile alone: one homeowner's plan to update cabinets, countertops and a backsplash turned, in their words, into "a major" renovation that also delivered a new mudroom, and another says the kitchen work "exceeded my vision." Worth knowing before calling: every review on file dates to between March 2021 and January 2022 — nothing here is newer, so there's no way to check today's turnaround or availability against a recent job. Its BBB profile carries an A+ grade despite BnD not being a BBB Accredited Business, and Thumbtack separately shows it as background-checked with a project gallery of 15 completed jobs. The business also advertises bilingual English and Spanish service. For a Dedham-area kitchen or bathroom project built around tile — ceramic, porcelain or natural stone — the reviews on file describe a crew that communicates well and finishes on schedule; just confirm current pricing and scheduling directly, since none of the reviews here were left after early 2022.
“As a subcontractor, nothing is more productive than having great communication between designer and client.”
Bruno was professional, personable and did some of the best tile work I have seen. His attention to detail and was willing go the extra mile. I will use him again in the near future for my next project.
They did the tile installation of my bathroom an my kitchen backsplash. The best tile work I have seen.
These days, it's hard to find people in a particular trade who convey the passion that Bruno and his team do with tile. Being a general contractor, one understand that reputation is everything & every trade involved in a project is a direct reflection on oneself. Tile is is one of those finish items a client will look at every day as a constant reminder of the work performed. Thus, it must be perfect. Bruno and his team continue to meet or exceed this demand for perfection. They have a great vision and can turn any of our ideas into a finished product all will love. I highly recommend these guys.
They did a great job with our tile for our bathroom and hallway. They were great with communicating and finished the job on time!
Bruno and his team are wonderful to work with! They understand my vision and bring it to life. When you have someone working in your clients home for a long period of time, you want to make sure you can trust them and they are enjoyable to be around. BnD brings all of those virtues and more. His work is professional, beautiful and done in a timely manner. I would definitely recommend Bruno and his team.
