Thirteen people have rated Pinto Construction on Google, and the average is a clean five stars. That is the first thing to know about this Dedham general contractor. The second is that everything written about it landed inside a single stretch — July 2024 to February 2025. The most useful of those accounts describes an actual job. In a November 2024 review, a homeowner wrote about having an old deck rebuilt and said the crew came in ahead of schedule and kept the site swept through the project. A July 2024 customer walked through the whole arc, from the first consultation to the final touches, and singled out crews that turned up when they said they would. Two more, written in Portuguese in late 2024, described a residential renovation finished on time. The rest are short. Several are one line of general praise with no job attached to them, and three were posted on the same December day in 2024 — worth registering when a perfect average rests on thirteen ratings. So the picture is one platform, one stretch of about seven months, and no second source to test it against. None of that is a warning sign; it is simply thin, and thin cuts both ways — there is not much here to argue against Pinto either. Where it points: a mid-size home renovation or a deck rebuild around Dedham, which is the one job anybody described in detail and described well. Before you sign, ask for two or three references from projects the size of yours, and ask for recent ones — nothing new has been written publicly since early 2025.
