In June 2026 a Google reviewer wrote that Boot Hill Metal Benders had just converted a 20-year-old central air conditioning system to a modern heat pump design. That job required custom adaptation and relocation of the air handler, and crawl-space limitations meant customization and layout changes. The reviewer credited "Andy and the team" from beginning to end and said the work finished ahead of schedule and under budget. In a January 2022 r/burlington thread, one commenter suggested Boot Hill by name. Another commenter in that thread said Boot Hill's quote was about the same price as installing new ductwork, went with New England Air at 25% of the price, and said they still planned to use Boot Hill to get a new duct — but that for cleaning, Boot Hill couldn't compete on price.

I just finished conversion of a 20 year old central air conditioning system to a modern heat pump design. (Forced March-OMG) Required custom adaptation and relocation of the air handler. In addition, "crawl space" limitations required customization and layout changes. Andy and the team could not have done a better job, from beginning to end. I cannot say enough positive to express my gratitude. Ahead of schedule, under budget with excellent engineering and workmanship. Quality humans, great Americans and I recommend hiring them!
