Todd Booth has been running Booth's Home Repair out of Framingham, Massachusetts for 23 years, working alongside Dave on most jobs and holding a Better Business Bureau A+ record since 2005. The company is a sole proprietorship with three employees, and BuildZoom lists a Massachusetts Home Improvement Contractor license (#140624) it says it verified as active as of July 2026. The reputation is built on small-to-midsize repair and carpentry work. HomeAdvisor rates the business 4.7 stars from 69 ratings, 87% of them five-star, describing an Approved Pro whose reviews consistently praise Todd and Dave for punctuality, fair pricing, and thorough work on small projects. The written history bears that out: a recent 2026 review credited the pair with a new kitchen floor, ice dam repairs and several small plumbing fixes, calling them personable and accommodating. In a 2024 review, a customer described them as professional during a mold-related estimate, pointing out issues other contractors had missed. A 2023 customer called the experience exceptional after Todd's team worked through a punch list that included door repairs and hanging a bannister, and another 2023 review said the pair truly care about the customer. Older reviews tell the same story — a 2020 review described a cabinet repair where Todd flagged substandard work by the original installers, and a 2018 review from a first-time handyman customer called the pair trustworthy and polite. Where the picture gets a little inconsistent is scope: BBB and BuildZoom list Booth's under general contracting and remodeling — kitchen and bath remodels, additions, basement work — while HomeAdvisor and the written reviews point to smaller handyman-scale jobs like carpentry, cabinets, doors, and plumbing fixes. Before booking, it's worth confirming whether the job at hand is the kind of focused repair and carpentry work the reviews describe, or a larger remodel closer to what the directory listings advertise.
Todd and Dave did a wonderful job on my new kitchen floor and they also did repairs for ice dam damage along with several small plumbing issues. They are very personable and willing to do even the smallest service. They listen carefully and are very accommodating. Their work is excellent, they are tidy and careful of their surroundings. I have already asked them to return for additional projects and I highly recommend them.
We had mold that another company removed. Todd and Dave at Booth Home repair were very professional during the estimate phase and pointed out a few areas the other three contractors did not see. They were punctual, friendly and had a reasonable quote. They started when they said they would, and treated our house as if it were their own. We are more than pleased with their finished work and would recommend them highly.
I had been compiling a list of projects/repairs for quite a while. Reached out to Todd Booth's company based on the 5 star reviews! Working with these professionals was EXCEPTIONAL at the very least. My punch list included repairing/purchasing/replacing new doors, hanging a bannister, replacing a baluster, measuring and ordering an outdoor screen, hanging a light, plastering-painting and hanging curtain rods, assistance with restoring bar stools. Within days I was emailed a detailed quote on each project! Todd and Dave were punctual, professional, kind, tidy and just really nice people! Prices were on point! Worth every penny!
Phenomenal job! I knew I wanted to work with Todd the moment I spoke with him on the phone. He and Dave truly care about you as the customer and take pride in their work. Highly recommend Todd any day!
There's no category for Cabinet repair, which is what was done. It went well. He pointed out less than quality work by the initial installers. He showed me what to do if other cabinets also have the same problem.
