Boston Masonry works out of 100 Hano Street in Allston on brick, stone and concrete — repointing, facade and historical restoration, chimneys, waterproofing, patios and retaining walls — across Boston, Cambridge, Newton, Brookline, Watertown and Waltham. The company says it has been at this for more than twenty years; its BBB profile dates the business to February 2004 and lists Tigran Yesayan as president with five employees. The positive reviews are unusually place-specific. In January 2026 a customer had brick restoration done on a forty-year-old building in Watertown and singled out the masons for understanding the problem rather than just performing the repair. In February a Brookline homeowner had waterproofing done and called the pricing affordable, and another had facade repair done in Cambridge. Further back, an April 2025 customer had the wall in front of their Cambridge house built on time and at what they called a reasonable rate. Then there is the review from July 2026, and it is the one to ask about. A customer says stairs the company had retreaded fell apart four months after the work, and that the company neither came back to fix them nor responded. That is one account against five, but it is recent and it goes to whether the work lasts. Its BBB profile carries an A+ grade, though the company is not BBB accredited, and BBB publishes no complaints against it.
