Brewster Welding, on Finlay Road in Orleans, turns up in Cape Cod's maritime writing rather than on review sites. A September 2025 piece on capecodfishermen.org describes the fishing vessel Nemesis as built by Brewster Welding, calling it modern, clean and comfortable, with a raised forward deck. The other mention is older: a 2010 Wicked Local article about a private marine railway on Pleasant Bay says the man who bought it had the railway's carriage rebuilt at Brewster Welding before building the wooden cradle on top himself.
“Didn’t hurt that Nemesis is a nice boat, built by Brewster Welding, modern, clean, comfortable, with a raised Fo’c’sle (forward deck) and captained by someone known to be safe and profitable.”
“He bought that for short money, had the carriage rebuilt at Brewster Welding, and built the wooden cradle atop by himself, restoring what many say is the last working marine railway on Pleasant Bay, and one of the last private ones on the peninsula.”
