A panel one homeowner called "outdated and quite dangerous" was replaced in under two weeks — that is the job a 2022 reviewer describes after a friend pointed them at Brian Mason. Brian Mason Electric works out of Hudson, New Hampshire, and Brian L Mason's New Hampshire electrician licence, #5952, is active on the state registry. The other account, from September 2023, came through a general contractor: basement electrical work, a variety of things the homeowner asked for, at pricing they called reasonable and competitive. Both customers arrived by referral, and both describe Brian as professional; the 2022 one adds that he was quick to respond at every step. Three Google ratings average 5.0, and BuildZoom shows four projects for the company along with a Massachusetts electrician licence. For a panel swap or basement circuit work around Hudson, this is a straightforward call. Ask when he can start, what the quote covers — permit and inspection included — and get the scope and the figure in writing before the work is booked.
Typical your area range for this kind of work, from regional averages — not a quote from Brian Mason Electric. Use it to sanity-check bids, then get the real number in writing.
Standard receptacle swaps — a new dedicated circuit is a bigger job ($350–$750).
Flush mounts, pendants, chandeliers — hung on existing boxes.

Brian was referred to me by my general contractor for my basement electrical work, his pricing was very reasonable and competitive than any others, and his work is out of the world. Extremely Professional and very cool. I had asked him to do a variety of things and he did it without any hesitation. His assistant Sam is a young professional who is self content and amazing work skills but very kind in heart. After installation everyday Sam did buzz the home and very kind to say what he did today and when he will be back the next time. You wont see these kind and professional communication now-a-days. Brian is very easy to work with you, despite of his other commitments he will make things work per your schedule, I end up calling him without enough time, but he still made it the next day. I had them add new lights to my existing rooms in ground floor and they even made it with very least amount of holes in the drywall. Both Brian and Sam take pride and enjoy what they do. Thanks for helping us Brian & Sam
Needed our outdated and quite dangerous panel replaced and we were referred to Brian from a friend. Throughout the entire process Brian was quick to respond. The e tire process took less than two weeks to complete. Brian and his work professional and polite and answered all of our questions in a way we could understand. The work is beautiful and we will definitely be calling him again for anything electrical we need. I would definitely give him a call if you need electrical work done. His prices are reasonable and his service is spectacular.
