Brother Painting is a family-owned Saugus crew whose Google reviews keep circling back to one name: Carlos. Across 26 ratings that average a full five stars, the same picture repeats — a small team that shows up on time, keeps a job moving, and leaves homeowners comfortable enough to hand over a whole condo or a full house exterior. The company says it has spent more than 20 years in residential and commercial painting, though it puts no founding year on that. What the recent jobs actually show is range within the trade. This spring one customer had Carlos and his team paint an entire condo and singled out how they tracked down every paint color she wanted; another had the full exterior of the house painted and called them quick to respond. A third review, from a studio in an 1880s Back Bay building, brought them in to repair and repaint a wall after electrical work tore into it — the kind of patch-and-match job that separates a careful painter from a fast one. Beyond painting, the company's own site lists drywall, plaster, carpentry, light plumbing and carpet work across Massachusetts and into parts of New Hampshire. Worth knowing: the reviews all describe painting, so if you are hiring for one of those other trades, ask to see comparable work first — the history you can actually read is a painting history. One practical caveat: nearly all of that history lives on Google, and while a BuildZoom listing exists it carries no independent reviews, so you are largely reading a single source. For interior and exterior repainting around Saugus and greater Boston — especially older homes that need real prep — they are an easy crew to call. Confirm licensing, insurance and a written scope before any non-painting work starts.

Carlos painted my whole condo last year and his team did a fantastic job. They were extremely fair in pricing and very resourceful in obtaining all the paint colors I needed. His team was always on time, very respectful and communicated perfectly. They were extremely efficient and very flexible around my schedule. My entire condo needed all rooms painted as well as trim and they did a phenomenal job. I would recommend Carlos and his team to anyone!

Brothers painting was so responsive and great to work with. We got our whole exterior house painted and they did such an amazing job. We couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. My studio apartment is in a building built in the 1880s in the Back Bay Area of Boston. A few months ago electric work had to be done in our building. That work meant a portion of one of my walls was negatively impacted. My wall and boxed piece of wall required repairs and painting. (Note that this is reason I am unaware of price.) Our Mgmt Company asked that they contact me to discuss what was needed. Carlos phoned and said he’d like to come in to assess all needed work. One week later he and his brother were back. Day 1 they did all the needed repairs and prepped the area of the wall for painting. Day 2 they returned to finish the job which included the painting. I must add part of the challenge was them finding the color most closely resembling my wall paint since I didn’t have any and don’t remember the color name. I’m extremely impressed with job results, their work ethic and great customer service provided. They were always on time ..…8 am on the dot ….in Boston! Additionally, they left my place clean and in great shape after finishing. I will consider for future jobs and wholeheartedly recommend Carlos and brother.
