Bonfim Pro

Thiago Bonfim runs this family-owned painting and home-improvement company out of Saugus, self-reporting 24 years in the trade. Homeowners hire the crew mainly for interior and exterior painting, but reviews also describe full renovations, deck and porch rebuilds, and carpentry work done alongside the paint. Every review on file — 30 of them across Google, Angi, and Better Business Bureau's listing, dating back to 2018 — is five stars, and the same holds on the platforms overall: a perfect rating from 22 people on Google and from 14 on Angi. As of a June 2026 review, the crew had just finished a full renovation of a 1940s bathroom gutted to the studs, on top of interior and exterior painting. A 2022 review describes a more involved job — a large fence with handcrafted doors, cable rails, and intricate railings — and another from that year covers a wrap-around porch and back deck, where the crew also handled carpentry repairs and painted the gutters. A 2021 review describes painting two full houses in one project, with the homeowner crediting Thiago for keeping them updated at each step. Reviewers across the years single out Thiago and longtime team members Antonia and Aretha for being easy to reach and clear about scheduling; one 2018 review even mentions the crew staying to help clean up after a customer's cat tracked wet paint through the house. A 2019 review noted a mix-up over timelines, which the homeowner attributed partly to weather delays rather than the crew — a rare exception in an otherwise clean run of five-star reviews. The company's Massachusetts home-improvement contractor license is registered to Bonfim Pro Painting, Inc. but currently shows as expired in the state registry, worth confirming directly before signing anything. It's also not accredited with the Better Business Bureau, though the Bureau still grades it A+ with no complaints filed. For a homeowner combining painting with related carpentry, deck work, or a full-room renovation, Bonfim Pro has years of specific, repeat praise from people who actually hired them; just confirm the license status and get a written timeline before the job starts.
