Days earlier, another customer described a custom closet and cabinet system built into a spare room that had housed an old armoire. On the landscape side, a 2015 review recounts a blue stone patio with a fire pit built around the client's existing material, and a 2014 review describes a shed built on a foundation made from stone left over from an excavation project. This is a fit for a combined landscape-and-carpentry project — a stone patio, built-ins, or a bathroom renovation — in the Acton area; confirm current availability and licensing before booking.

Burr Brown completed a bathroom renovation in our 1960s midcentury home. This included complete demo and renovation of shower, sink, and flooring. He removed a tub and installed a full tile shower with glass doors, custom built a mahogany shelf for vessel sink, installed radiant heating under new tile floor, and customized a small built-in for additional shelving/storage. Eric is very easy to work with and open to ideas around the project and was in sync with our vision to keep the bathroom in the style of the home.
Burr Brown Design just designed and built a custom closet/cabinet in one of our spare rooms. It was previously an awkward space that housed an old, inefficient armoire. We needed storage for clothing, but also wanted something that, in the future, could be used for other purposes. Together, with Eric, we designed a built-in cabinet that houses three drawers on the bottom, adjustable shelves on the top, and space for a hanging bar. It appears built in, yet is easily removable should our needs change. The piece is simple, yet good quality, attractive and efficient. Eric is creative, and easy to work with.
Burr Brown recently completed a blue stone patio with fire pit for our back patio. We couldn't be more pleased. We asked them to incorporate some existing material into the new design and they came up with some clever ideas that work beautifully. Eric and his team are great to work with: professional, courteous, knowledgable. All around a great experience!
Burr Brown provides custom landscapes, furniture and construction. This particular project we loved. We had a vision for a shed that Burr Brown helped us realize. The foundation was built from an existing pile of stones we had from an excavation project and having so much stone on our property we really wanted to have the stone foundation. Burr Brown really created a beautiful stone foundation as well as handsome shed exactly as we asked it to be built and oriented. They were also very helpful to us in sourcing and restoring an old barn door and barn hardware. We love our shed. We loved working with Burr Brown Design.
