Hardwood replacement and refinishing draw customers to C & C Flooring, but its history also includes complaints about unfinished work and missed appointments. The Manchester company says it has been in business for 30 years and offers hardwood installation, refinishing, maintenance and cleaning, plus vinyl plank installation. It names Manchester, Nashua, Keene and Lawrence as its service area. Google gives the company 4.7 stars from 69 ratings. In a March 2025 review, a Bedford customer described replacing deeply stained hardwood sections, then sanding and finishing three rooms. That customer said the crew left very little dust, cleaned up and finished in three days, and that another company's quote had been $1,800 higher. An August 2025 reviewer also praised the materials and result after having carpet replaced with hardwood. Older customers described repairs as well as new installation. In December 2023, one homeowner said the company repaired and refinished floors damaged years earlier by cats; the floors were at least 50 years old. An April 2023 reviewer praised an upstairs hardwood installation, including the wood's price and quality and the crew's cleanliness and punctuality. A June 2022 customer described having the second floor refinished and stained to match the first, with completion earlier than expected. Communication experiences differed. In December 2025, a reviewer said Chris accommodated the schedules and needs of two disabled seniors, explained the proposed services and kept communication open. In April 2025, however, a customer said they drove an hour to a scheduled appointment and were met with a no-show, unanswered calls and unanswered emails. An August 2023 customer reported a job running weeks longer than expected, a broken light, scratches in a newly refinished floor and needing to call the company back to finish the work. Separately, the Union Leader reports wage and anti-retaliation violations involving C & C Flooring LLC and owner Christopher Coburn. That report describes court-ordered payments to employees and is a concern beyond the customer accounts of flooring work.
