We had a great experience working with Redwood Builders for the finishing of our basement in Merrimack. Jason and Alex were easy to work with, communicative, and adaptive to our vision and needs. The end result exceeded our expectations and we would recommend them to any of our friends/neighbors!

We had an amazing experience with Alex and his crew from Redwood Builders. The team helped create an office/TV room in our unfinished basement so we could free up a bedroom for our incoming baby. Alex was able to see a vision for the space right away, and he answered all our questions. We were eager to get started and the team had a great timeline for getting it done. Jason was our builder and he did a great job communicating with us and keeping us updated on where the project stood. We even threw a last minute curveball, and decided to replace the window. It was no issue for the team. I would definitely recommend thus business to anyone I know looking to do some sort of home reno. I'm sure we will be repeat customers again down road. We couldn’t be happier with the incredible job the Redwood Builders team did in bringing our dream space to life! Our project began with several challenges, including a variance, conservation committee approval, and a conditional use permit. From the very beginning, Alex jumped right in—helping us navigate the required paperwork and even attending city meetings. This level of support truly set Redwood Builders apart, as other builders we spoke with expected all approvals to be completed beforehand. Alex was also extremely accommodating when we had to postpone the start date multiple times, and he remained patient and supportive as we worked through the design process to finalize every detail. During construction, the entire team was professional, respectful, and mindful of both our home and our neighbors. They worked efficiently, kept disruption to a minimum, and were always friendly and approachable. Any questions or concerns we had were addressed promptly. We also can’t say enough great things about Jason—his craftsmanship and versatility are outstanding. When we had a specific range hood design in mind that wasn’t available through the cabinet company, Jason took the initiative to build it from scratch, and it came out exactly as we had envisioned. We are absolutely thrilled with our new space and highly recommend Redwood Builders to anyone looking for quality, professionalism, and a truly dedicated team.

We cannot recommend Alex and the Redwood Builders team highly enough. Over the course of a four-month project, they completed a major addition to our home that included new offices and a playroom over our garage, an updated master shower, a new laundry room and half bath, and a full reconfiguration of our entryway to add stairs to the new addition, a hall closet, and a pantry (formerly our laundry room). From the very beginning, Alex, the owner, stood out for his professionalism, communication, and commitment to doing things the right way. The design phase was especially strong—he took great care to ensure our vision was fully captured on paper, with detailed plans and a clear, upfront budget. This thoughtful approach set the project up for success and helped avoid miscommunication during construction. What was designed was exactly what was built. Throughout the project, the team worked hard to maintain momentum and stay on schedule. When potential delays arose, we were always informed early and worked through solutions collaboratively to minimize impact. Alex was consistently available by text or phone, which made the entire process feel transparent and manageable. The craftsmanship was exceptional, with an impressive attention to detail from start to finish. Just as importantly, the team took extreme care to protect our home during construction, including dust control and floor protection. Every contractor Redwood brought into our home was skilled, professional, and genuinely kind. Since the team was working in and around our home for four months, this mattered tremendously—and we truly couldn’t imagine a better group to go through such a major renovation with. They were also incredibly patient and respectful with our two children who were around a lot during the summer months, which we deeply appreciated. We are absolutely thrilled with the finished result. The new spaces are beautiful, functional, and have completely transformed how we live in our home. This team made our project dreams a reality, and we feel incredibly lucky to have worked with them. We can’t recommend them highly enough.

Alex and his team did an AMAZING job on a very complicated ADU build. They did it on time, on budget - and beautifully. He took the time to meet with me weekly to discuss where we were vs target and was always available to talk. In short, I can't recommend them more highly.
