Cabana Fence is an owner-operated fencing contractor based in Dracut, Massachusetts, serving residential and commercial customers across Massachusetts and Southern New Hampshire. Established in 2009, the company sells, installs and repairs vinyl, aluminum, wood and chain link fences, along with matching gates and archways. The written record is small but strongly positive: Google shows a 4.7-star average from 15 ratings, and 13 of the 14 written reviews on record from 2022 to 2026 are five-star. Reviewers consistently name owner Dave Cabana personally — praising on-the-spot quotes that match the final bill, early arrivals, tight deadlines met, and courteous crews that coordinate with neighbors and leave the site clean. Several customers describe him fitting in urgent work, including a quick repair after a tree fell on a fence. The one dissent is recent: a July 2026 one-star review describes an estimate appointment that started about 90 minutes late, an installation timeline the owner said he could not meet, and a further dispute the reviewer says arose months after they hired another company. It is the only review of the past six months, so ask about current scheduling and lead times when you get a quote.
Requested an estimate for a vinyl fence. The owner, Dave, arrived about 90 minutes late, provided an estimate, and told me he couldn’t meet the installation timeline I needed, so I hired another company. I never signed a contract or agreed to move forward. Nearly three months later, he unexpectedly leaves me missed calls, voicemails, and text messages about starting the installation, apparently assuming he had the job. Before I even had a chance to get out of work and respond, he apparently drove by my house, saw my fence had already been installed, and then continued to text me insulting my fence. The way a company handles losing a job says as much about them as the way they perform one. My experience speaks for itself. I dodged a bullet and I’m glad I chose another contractor.
I highly recommend Cabana Fences — five stars+! The owner Dave Cabana is professional, courteous, and offers competitive prices. I very much appreciated that Dave always arrived promptly for estimate/planning appointments and for install days. Dave also always communicated with me via phone or text to keep me informed at all stages of my fence project from start to finish. Fences are Cabana’s specialty, and I am so happy with the beautiful, high quality privacy fence, dog-eared picket fence, and sturdy gates he installed for me. Cabana Fences does excellent work and Dave was an absolute pleasure to work with. Highly recommend!
I recently had privacy fences installed by Dave @ Cabana Fence, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience from start to finish. The team was incredibly professional, respectful, and easy to work with. They also worked with the neighbors during the process, which made the entire process smooth. The installation itself was impressively quick without sacrificing quality — the craftsmanship and attention to detail are outstanding. The fences look fantastic and have completely transformed our yard. It’s rare to find a company that delivers such great communication, speed, and workmanship all in one. I highly recommend Cabana Fence to anyone looking for fencing services. They truly go above and beyond!
My next door neighbor said I HAD to use David Cabana. Cabana Fence = No nonsense, down to earth. Quoted 2 jobs at one time, by looking up at the sky and then giving me both prices. No calculator. WOW. On the day he did the job I asked what I owed him and he gave me the same 2 prices. 2 other companies had to go back to the office and wait a few days and their prices were much higher. David and Luis were spectacular. Great materials, great work, great attitude! 10 stars!
Dave of Cabana Fence is the absolute best!! We love our fence! Dave was extremely professional, knowledgeable and personable. His prices are very reasonable as well. We will definitely use him again! Highly recommend!
