Caddis Carpentry

Jose and the whole Caddis crew did a tremendous job insulating our 130-year-old Victorian recently. Our house feels so much tighter and more comfortable -- and holds both heat and cool for longer, thus requiring the furnace and central air to run less often. Manager Dave Prell and Administrator Lara Godoy were highly responsive from the outset and throughout the project. Caddis' team was professional, courteous, on site consistently until the job was done and meticulous in ensuring that every last wall or space was dense-packed or otherwise fully insulated. The job was completed on time and on budget. The crew cleaned up the work spaces inside and outside at the end of every work day. We were especially appreciative that Jose, on his first site visit, listened to my concern that the MassSave technician had proposed a much smaller insulation job than we felt was needed (e.g. the MassSave technician incorrectly said MassSave wouldn't cover the cost of dense-packing the walls). Jose said he would appeal to MassSave for the more comprehensive job that he (and we) felt was needed and the blowing test validated -- and was able to get that approved by MassSave. We are grateful for his extra effort!
