Three Sons Window & More is a Waltham outfit built around replacement window work at scale, and the installers get named again and again — Jon, Jeff, Eswin, Rick, James. The company's site says it is family-owned and operated by Paul Nutile and his son Robert, with 36 years in the construction trade behind it. Its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration, #181960, is active. The Better Business Bureau has carried it as an accredited business with an A+ grade since 2010. Most of this year's accounts are window jobs, and they come with particulars. A June 2026 customer had 20 windows and a slider installed and said the crew cleaned up meticulously; a May 2026 customer watched them cover the beds in plastic sheeting before starting. Another May 2026 customer had 1950s rusted windows and a front door pulled and replaced across three days and said it was done on time as first estimated. They do more than openings. A May 2026 customer had their attic finished. A homeowner replacing a deck her husband, son and nephews had built thirty years earlier wrote in May 2026 that Rick and the crew made the process much easier and were respectful of the history. In a February 2023 review, a 1930s house got new siding, gutters, shutters and a bay window. The complaint that repeats is getting someone to call back. One-star reviews in May 2022, December 2022 and June 2026 tell the same story: a rep came out, a quote was promised or sent, and then emails and voicemails went unanswered — one customer called four times. An October 2023 customer who liked the finished custom bay window still took a star off for how little consultation there was along the way. One account is sharper than the rest. In March 2025 a customer said the company did not pull the permit for an exterior door replacement even though it had been added to the contract, and that the door was installed incorrectly, with the jamb left three-quarters of an inch out of flush with the drywall. Price tends to land on the low side of the bids people gather: a 2020 Houzz reviewer said the proposal came in about $900 under another company's, and a June 2026 customer called the price the best they found anywhere. In a June 2025 Reddit thread, a commenter said Three Sons was expensive but did a lot of work on their property, and that during delays in storm window manufacturing the company did its best to communicate clearly. For a straightforward window or door replacement — particularly a high-count job where a practiced crew matters — this is a strong call.
