Calyx Builds

Calyx Builds is a remodeling company that says it was established in 1997. A recent customer said Ismael and Mario did their air sealing and rim joist insulation, and assured them they could figure out a solution for several hard-to-reach areas. A 2025 customer said the insulation technicians talked them through the whole process and did the work in a clean and tidy manner. A 2025 customer said Steve and Kevin arrived on time to install a sliding patio door. A 2021 customer said their only bathroom was projected to take six weeks, and project manager Steve coordinated his teams to finish it in three. A 2020 customer described a half bath added to a condominium built in 1900, completed on time. A 2022 customer described an addition and kitchen remodel that ended with a new kitchen, a 600 sq ft addition with a fireplace, and a new roof and gutters. A 2021 customer said that after demo the company wanted to charge $15,000 for a structural engineer plus fees for more demo; they fired the company and hired a new contractor. A 2020 customer said the shower in a new bedroom-and-bath addition had leaked since the day the work finished, with water seeping through the foundation. A 2017 customer said exterior trim was installed with standard interior nails, and that the door manufacturer told them the addition door was installed improperly.
