Canopy Tree Service is a residential tree service; on its website the owner says he has run it in Barre, MA since 2021 and takes on everything from the smallest pruning jobs to large residential projects. A 2025 Google customer said a windstorm split a large tree in half, one side just missing the house. That customer wrote that the owner, Joe, arrived within 15 minutes, gave a price, and came back within 20 minutes with his bucket truck to safely drop the second half while it continued to rain. The same 2025 customer said they returned first thing the next morning and had the whole tree and several more limbs removed before 8 a.m. A 2025 reviewer said that after lightning struck a tree close to the house, they showed up within 24 hours and removed it. A 2023 customer said Canopy Tree took down a couple of trees hanging over the house and power lines and also ground the stumps. A 2023 reviewer wrote that after a storm left large limbs down, they cleaned it up fast. A 2024 customer said Joe and Jake took down two trees and called the cost reasonable. A 2020 Reddit commenter said the company gave a "killer deal" on removing maples over a driveway and cleaned everything up. In 2026, a Google reviewer praised punctual, safe removal and the cleanup work. A 2025 reviewer gave one star with a warning about road conduct: "These guys are hazard on the road. Watch out for them!"
“Canopy Tree Service gave us a killer deal on the removal of maples over our driveway. Super fast, and they cleaned everything up for us.”
Punctual safe removal and awesome cleanup work
Excellent tree removal service, they are well equipped and extremely skilled.
Had a large tree split in half during a windstorm one side fell just missing the house, and the other was leaning dangerously toward it. I called to get an estimate, and the owner Joe arrived within 15 minutes. After reviewing the situation and giving me a great price, he left to grab his bucket truck and was back within 20 minutes to safely drop the second half of the tree while it continued to rain They returned first thing the next morning and had the entire tree and several additional limbs completely removed before 8 a.m. The area was spotless when they finished. Exceptional service, fast response, and top-notch cleanup. I’ll absolutely use them again and highly recommend them to anyone needing tree work done. They deserve higher than a 5 star.
These guys are hazard on the road. Watch out for them!
