Cape Cod Retractable, Inc.

An older deck awning that had come loose from the house brought one customer to Cape Cod Retractable. In a February 2024 Google review, they said the company returned their email and Steve visited the next day. Although they initially expected a later scheduling call, they received a call that afternoon saying two workers would arrive shortly. The customer said the workers repaired the awning quickly and explained what they had done. Based in Pocasset, Cape Cod Retractable describes itself as a dealer and installer of retractable awnings, screens and hurricane shutters for Cape Cod homes and businesses. Its work includes repairing existing awnings: a January 2024 Angi reviewer described a motor replacement and praised the company’s promptness and cleanup. Google lists a 4.6-star average from nine ratings; Angi lists 5.0 stars from 23. Customers also describe replacement and new installation. In an August 2023 Google review, a customer said Joe and Willie arrived with a replacement awning nine days after an agreement was signed with Steven. They praised the pair’s coordination, attention to detail and courtesy. A July 2022 Angi reviewer said the company replied the same day they emailed, came to measure and show samples, and installed the awning the following week. A May 2022 Google reviewer described Steve presenting different awning options, explaining each and answering all their questions. They said a two-person crew arrived on time to install a powered awning and finished within two hours. In an August 2021 Angi account, another customer reported a returned call within 24 hours, a visit that day to assess the problem, and a return a week later to install an ordered part. Its BBB page carries an A+ grade and states that the business is not BBB accredited. Angi gives inconsistent descriptions of experience: its business highlights say 21 years, while the About text says the company is in its 15th year.
