Cape Pool Care Service's customers describe pool openings, routine maintenance, spa service and repairs, with sharply different experiences of tile work. A May 2026 Google reviewer said Erlon and Matt repaired fallen tiles and opened the pool as promised during the busy opening season. A July 2026 Angi reviewer reported a leaking pool-wall patch and failing replacement tiles, followed by a returned deposit. The Harwich business also receives praise for getting pools ready to use. A July 2026 customer staying in a rental said the pool and hot tub were cleaned, heated and ready for the family, and that the workers arrived when promised. That customer identified Matt as the owner and described him as directly involved in seeing the job through. Another July reviewer said Mathew was helpful and meticulous with pool maintenance. In an August 2025 review, a customer praised repairs and service to a pool and spa, crediting Eron and Mat with keeping them in good condition. A September 2023 reviewer said Erlon opened the pool and kept it looking good through the summer. The July 2026 complaint concerns substantial repair work: fixing a hole in the pool wall, replacing waterline tiles and repainting the pool. The customer said the patch still leaked and began crumbling, tiles fell off, and deteriorating mortar left gray staining after the pool was filled. They alleged that the tile materials were not rated for pools and said Erlon offered to return to fix the problems. The deposit was ultimately returned, leaving the customer trying to salvage use of the pool for the summer. Scheduling drew an older criticism too. A September 2023 Angi reviewer said the worker preferred his own schedule and was not very flexible. A July 2023 customer, by contrast, praised punctuality, texts when running late and a fair price. Google showed a 5-star average from 11 ratings in August 2026, while Angi showed 3.8 stars from four. The BBB gives Cape Pool Care Service an A+ grade and describes it as accredited. Angi lists Spanish spoken and free estimates, along with pool cleaning, maintenance, opening and closing, and pool and spa repair services.
