A new liner, coordinated water delivery and a next-morning equipment check all feature in a July 2026 customer’s account of Clearwater Custom Pools and Services Inc. The reviewer said Rodrigo responded quickly when other companies were not returning calls, and that his team upgraded the liner and hardware in about one day. A May 2026 reviewer described a larger project: a custom saltwater gunite pool that Rod and his crew finished earlier than expected, with competitive pricing and communication throughout. Based in Harwich Port, Clearwater describes itself as a residential pool contractor serving Cape Cod. Its website offers pool construction and renovation, liner installation, maintenance, repairs, and seasonal opening and closing. Customers identify Rodrigo, also called Rod, as the owner and describe working with him directly. The company’s Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration is active. Google showed five stars from 13 ratings in August 2026. Liner replacement comes up in several dated accounts. A May 2026 customer praised the ordering and installation of a new liner. In June 2025, another said Rod responded quickly and his staff delivered a new in-ground liner and Hayward pool motor as promised. Bob and Kathy, writing in May 2025, said Rodrigo stayed in contact through their liner installation. A January 2025 reviewer described having a vinyl liner replaced and a patio installed. The construction accounts also describe how projects were managed. A May 2025 customer said Rod worked directly with them on design and pricing, kept them informed, and delivered their pool on time and on budget. Another May 2025 reviewer described a gunite pool and travertine deck, saying the work stayed on schedule and pricing was fair. In a September 2025 review, John Butler of Dennis said his custom pool was built on the agreed schedule. Seasonal service appears in a January 2025 account from a couple who said Clearwater had opened and closed their pool annually, troubleshot problems and installed a new heater during nearly three and a half years of using the company’s services.
Rodrigo and his team did an excellent job upgrading our pool with a new liner and hardware. His communication was fast and responsive when I was not getting calls back from anyone else (busiest time of the season I would imagine when I called in June as a new customer) and i am glad that it worked out the way it did. His guys were on time, in uniform and basically got the whole job done in one day. I would be happy to recommend Clear Water Custom pools to friends, family or anyone with a pool or thinking about having one designed and built from scratch. They even coordinated water deliveries timed upon completion and the guys came back the next morning to check their work, the equipment and make sure everything was running properly. 10 out of 10 and happy to send pictures and or give reference. Here are a few I haven’t taken many yet but “before, during and after”
Nice work ordering and putting in new liner. Professional and friendly install.
Rod and his crew were outstanding, we would hire them ten times over. They built a custom saltwater gunite pool for us that was competitively priced, finished earlier than expected, and he was incredibly communicative during the whole process. We look forward to working with Rod for ongoing maintenance with our pool for many years to come and highly recommend him for all your pool needs.
Rodrigo and his crew were nothing short of amazing professionals.
Rod owner of Clearwater Custom Pools built us a beautiful custom pool on time and kept to the schedule we set. All his employees were skilled and professional in their respective trades. I would highly recommend his company for custom builds, pool maintenance and hardscaping. John Butler Dennis
