Capewide Construction Inc

Capewide Construction has been building and remodeling homes on Cape Cod under owner Joao Junqueira, with reviews stretching back to 2011 — additions, full-home rebuilds, decks, kitchens, baths, and septic work all show up across more than a decade of customer accounts. The company holds an active Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration, verified against the state registry, and carries an A+ rating with BBB, where it's been accredited since 2018. The reviews that keep landing are about a team that shows up and finishes the job well. A customer writing this year says they've used Capewide for several years running and consistently gotten good work at a fair price, with responsive office staff. In a 2023 Houzz review, a homeowner thanked owner Joao Junqueira by name for a bathroom remodel and said the crew kept the project stress-free with regular updates. Even a painter who subcontracts for Capewide on their remodels and new builds — not a customer, but someone who's seen the work up close — wrote in 2024 that the construction underneath is consistently solid. Earlier five-star reviews from 2013 and 2014 describe a full home rebuild, a septic system replacement handled carefully after a Christmas Eve pipe emergency, and a large home addition. Not every account is glowing. In a 2020 Houzz review, a customer who paid over $300,000 for a full house rebuild completed in 2015 described a new foundation that developed a crack about nine months in and worsened afterward — a serious complaint about a major, expensive project. A one-star Google rating from late 2025 gave no detail beyond calling the experience not good. Both are worth weighing against the much larger stack of detailed, positive accounts. Capewide is also listed with several trade groups — Houzz shows NAHB and HB&RA membership along with a few Houzz awards and badges — and BuildZoom's permit data credits the company with hundreds of completed projects, consistent with a company that's been building and renovating on the Cape for over a decade. For a full renovation, addition, or new build on the Cape, this is a company with a long paper trail to check — worth asking directly about the foundation issue from the 2015 rebuild and getting current references for anything comparable to your own project.
