Rick is great! Easy to talk to, extremely knowledgeable, has the best prices, and has great attention to detail. He installed a beautiful Kuma insert within a week of the initial quote so I could get some use out of it at the tail end of the season. Highly recommend!

We were a bit worried at first when it was taking a bit to get our service, but the custom parts our 1890s home/chimney needed to fit a modern wood stove, and those took some time. Rick could have charged us much, much more for those parts. We came out way under expectations for some top-of-the-line products, instead He chose to be real instead of greedy. Super nice, knowledgeable, professional, and shows a real passion and interest for taking care of his customers without trying to upsell anything. Gave me a quote one day and seemed honest and straightforward. I decided on moving forward with his company and he told me he would put it on order and get to me as soon as he could. I also did some chimney repointing, which they completed quickly. My particular wood stove insert was on back order, and he was in the middle of a big job so he told me I would have to wait a few weeks. Unfortunately, our temperatures dropped and the need became more pressing, so he fit me in sooner than expected and got my insert installed. I see one review mentioning communication, but I had a different experience. He did sometimes took A few days to get back to me but in no way I'm reasonable. But that's before he made any money. Once he complete at the job, any questions or issues they had he followed up quickly. Usually with most companies it's the other way around, some are quick before they get your money but once they do, you don't hear from them. Completely different experience here, he was quick to respond and address any concerns. I've attached two images, one was The temperature in my living room a few weeks ago, with my mini split running at 74°. Did I could only get my living room up to about 56°. The next as a screenshot from tonight, with the average temperature between 66° and 68° using nothing but the fireplace insert. Of course there was some differences in outside temperature, but ultimately I'm extremely happy with how well this is working and the overall process. I will update review after I've had more than just one week experience with it and after spring to see how well the fireplace reappointing holds up. Overall, I wouldn't hesitate recommending this company. They offer great products and service, are reliable, honest, and very helpful. will definitely be using them for cleaning and maintenance.

Capital Chimney Services is professional, dependable, and good for their word. Their pricing was the best of the contractors I contacted. Rick is wonderful to talk to and so easy to get things done with. Chris came to do the work on our chimney, and it looks fantastic after his focused, hard work (despite the heat and humidity during the time he worked.)
