Carpet Elite LLC is a Tewksbury, Massachusetts business Tony Amaral runs himself, stretching and repairing carpets that have rippled, bubbled, or torn rather than doing full flooring overhauls. The site says he's been at it for more than 15 years. The platform ratings back that up at a scale unusual for a one-person outfit: 4.9 stars across 284 Thumbtack ratings, 4.9 across 118 on both Angi and HomeAdvisor, and 5 stars across 48 on Google. Written reviews tell the same story in more detail — 45 of them since 2020, and not one is negative. The pattern repeats: a homeowner calls about a wrinkle, a buckle, or a hole a pet chewed through, Tony comes out within a day or two, fixes it in a few hours, and carefully moves furniture back when he's done. Several reviewers mention he vacuumed or cleaned the carpet before leaving, and more than one has called him back a second time — in a 2023 review, one customer said he'd installed flooring for her at two different houses years apart. Price comes up unprompted and consistently: a 2025 review called it "extremely fair" and said she'd expected to pay more, and another from the same year called the quote "competitive." An older HomeAdvisor review from 2021 adds a specific example from further back: Tony was called in to repair a two-room carpet install a "well known store chain" had botched two months earlier. Not one of these reviews, new or old, raises a complaint, so there's little to caution against here. The jobs described are rooms, stairways, and sections of carpet rather than whole-house installs spanning many rooms at once, so for a bigger project it's worth asking upfront how he'd staff it. For a rippled, torn, or worn carpet that needs stretching or patching rather than replacing, the reviews here are about as consistent as they come — deep, recent, and pointing at the same things: quick response, careful work, and a fair price.

Highly recommended carpet professional. Will definitely use again - stretched/reconditioned a large 2nd floor carpet taking out all of the "bubbles" that developed over time. Tony was professional throughout the entire process, and you could tell he cared about his craft. My carpet looked great afterwards. Thanks Tony!
Tony did a great job on our carpet repairs recently. He listened to our concerns and addressed each bedroom accordingly, and even made the time to repair the carpet on several of our stairs as well an area of carpet in our living room that we asked him to look at on his way out. He was highly professional, courteous and the quality of his work was wonderful. Thank you!
Tony was amazing with his work. He got my carpet fixed in couple of hours and I as able to accommodate us very quickly. Highly recommend.
Tony did an excellent job repairing a narrow long tear in my carpet. It’s nearly impossible to tell where the damage was now. He was professional, on time, and clearly skilled at what he does. Highly recommend!
Tony was a very nice person. I needed carpet stretching and it came out great. He even cleaned the carpets. He made sure the job was done correctly. I would highly recommend him. Thank you Tony for an outstanding job!
