Carroll County Oil delivers heating oil out of Center Ossipee, NH, and a recent first-time customer says Amy and Shannon helped make a propane delivery happen, adding that it is nice to walk into an office and talk to real people. The website names a service area running from Ossipee and Tamworth to Conway, Wakefield and New Durham, and says it offers 24/7 emergency service. A 2023 customer who switched over from Rymes said there was always a human on the other end of the phone and the delivery person was polite. A 2024 customer said oil showed up when the company said it would. A 2025 customer said Shannon helped sort out an overfill and set up a plan to pay it off. A 2025 customer said experiences were good until the new owners took over, then a scheduled delivery never came and they ran out of oil; the tank was later filled past what was ordered, leaving an unexpected bill. A 2026 customer said a delivery promised for Friday came on Tuesday and the payment was withdrawn before the day they had agreed, overdrawing their account. A 2024 customer said there was water in the fuel and they spent Christmas Eve and Christmas Day clearing a frozen fuel line. A 2023 customer said a mailed check went missing and they lost a discount because the check did not arrive within 15 days.
