Caspe Restoration

Tom is an excellent craftsman. He did a great job refurbishing the wooden double-hung sash windows in my 1890s condo. They needed a variety of repairs including replacing cracked glass, fixing chains, reglazing and painting, and adding weather stripping. A carpenter who works with him replaced a rotten sill and did some other repairs. Tom communicated well and did excellent work and clean-up. Now my windows work and are beautiful.

Tom did an awesome job restoring the double hung windows in our 1875 house into perfectly working condition. Some of these windows probably hadn't been opened in years and now we can get fresh air all over our house. He was able to do this for 10 windows in one day at an incredibly reasonable price (substantially lower than the more well known names for Boston window restoration). He is also a great communicator and loves what he does. We look forward to having him continue to work on glazing + painting to really bring our windows back to life.

Casper Restoration did a great job fixing our windows and doors. Their prices are fair, they work fast, and they are very careful with their work. The team is friendly and professional. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs window or door repairs.

Tom and his assistent did an excellent job of restoring several extremely deteriorated windows on my 175 year old house in Rockport. And as several others comment, Tom also has the rare gift of being able to communicate clearly to the layperson. He always kept me up to date with the process and always did exactly what he said he would do. I only wish he could rehab the whole house!

Tom did a fantastic job of restoring the interior doors in our 1920s house. They were sticking, not latching properly, or the door handles were loose. We also have French doors with original glass. Since we have a baby in the house, we were most concerned about safety- making sure the doors closed properly, that the glass on the French doors was protected, and that the paint was not peeling. He was so knowledgeable, he finished the job early even after scoping out additional projects for us! It was great to know we could get the original fixtures fixed rather than having to replace them.
