Castillo Construction and Painting

Castillo Construction and Painting is Olvin Castillo's Malden remodeling outfit — kitchens, bathrooms, decks, additions, roofing, siding, drywall, carpentry and painting for homeowners in Malden and the towns around it, from Medford and Arlington out to Lexington and Wellesley. The company says it has been at it for ten years, and its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration, issued in December 2025, is active on the state registry. The written record so far is one review and one Reddit thread, both this year. A July customer hired Olvin to build a new deck and described daily on-time arrivals, regular updates, a project finished as promised and a worksite left spotless. On r/malden this September a commenter seconded the recommendation for kitchen work, calling the crew thoughtful and fairly priced, having used them to finish out a bathroom renovation earlier in the year. A reasonable call for a deck, a bathroom or a kitchen in the Malden area. Since the registration is under a year old and the reviews are few, ask for addresses of recent finished jobs and confirm the construction supervisor licence the website lists.
