Cavicchi Oil is the heating-oil and burner-service side of Cavicchi Heating and Air Conditioning, the Lakeville-area HVAC shop Corey Cavicchi has run as a sole proprietorship since 2008. Its Better Business Bureau profile is accredited with an A+ grade and lists a full slate of furnace, boiler, heat pump and mini-split work built on the original oil-burner and tank business. In a 2022 review, one homeowner called them "the best for emergency service" after Cory came out on a weekend other companies wouldn't touch, tracked down parts, and got the heating system running again while explaining what he'd found. Another 2022 review told a rockier story: after a heating-system replacement, the zone valves were wired backwards, and it took about a week to get a technician out who still couldn't sort out the problem — until the owner came by himself and fixed it in twenty minutes. More recent reviews, from 2025, are shorter but consistent: Cavicchi Oil described as friendly, fair-priced, and "always there" for a service call or an oil fill-up. The one thing worth asking about before booking a bigger job is turnaround if something needs a second visit — the 2022 valve mix-up sat for about a week before anyone besides the owner could resolve it. A solid call for oil delivery, burner service, and everyday heating and cooling work around Lakeville and East Freetown, especially if a system fails on a weekend; for a larger installation, it's worth asking who follows up if something needs adjusting afterward.
