Nine written accounts stretched over five years, and one name runs through nearly all of them: Chris. Cedrone Contracting is a Mashpee shop whose customers describe a person rather than a company — which matches how the business describes itself. Chris Cedrone started it in 1996, and he and Katerina brought it to Cape Cod in 2012; they call it a small family business the two of them run directly. The work is whole-room and whole-house remodeling rather than a single trade — kitchens, bathrooms, basement finishes, additions, decks, windows and siding, from Mashpee out through Falmouth, Sandwich, Barnstable and the villages between. Its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration is active and held in the company's own name. Permits tell the same story: 14 permitted jobs on file at BuildZoom, mostly Falmouth-area basement finishes, deck builds and remodels. On Google it's 16 ratings averaging 4.7, and the write-ups carry enough detail to be useful. A 2024 review walks through a bathroom rebuild — tub out, walk-in shower in, new floor — with the demo crew, electrician, plumber and tilers all moving through the house. Another 2024 customer, sent to Chris by their insurance company after water damage and mold in a three-room finished basement, says he came over the next day. A 2022 homeowner who found the company through a neighbor had a price and qualifications back within a week on a 300-square-foot addition. One 2025 line lands hardest: he finished on time, which the customer said had never happened before. In a review posted this February, a condo owner called a slider replacement smooth, if pricey on materials. The counterweight is on BBB. Alongside an A+ grade sits a negative customer review from a homeowner describing a difficult renovation, who says others contacted them afterwards with concerns of their own. It carries no date, so there's no placing it in the timeline — which makes it a question to put directly to the company, along with references from a job the size of yours. How long they've been at it depends on who you ask: the company says 29 years, Porch lists 26, and BBB records a business start of February 2017. BuildZoom also shows two older Massachusetts registrations tied to the company — an earlier home improvement number and a construction supervisor licence — as inactive. For a Cape kitchen, bath, basement or addition where you want the owner in the house rather than a rotating crew, Cedrone is a reasonable call. Confirm the current registration number against the state's own lookup, ask for two references from jobs of similar scope, and get the schedule in writing before you sign.

“Have nothing but positive things to say about Chris and Kat! Great communication and teamwork replacing my condo slider. Tennants are happy, smooth sailing process, it was pricey but that's more costs of materials than it was the service.”

Chris was very professional and easy to work with on my project! His crew was fantastic!
Chris was nothing but professional and kind…I know…in this business the 2 don’t go together but I’m his case THEY DO!! He not only finished in time (never happened before) but all his subs were just like him…polite, kind and all did such a great job. When Chris didn’t know the answer he found someone who did. I sound like I’m being paid to say this, but Chris Cedrone is the real thing…I’d not only recommend him but we will have him do our next job!!!
We recently contracted with Chris of Cedrone Contracting to remodel our bathroom which included removing the tub and replacing with a walk-in shower, and replacing the floor. Everyone who came into our home from demo, to the electrician, plumber and tilers were very professional and hard working. Dan, as project manager, was easy to communicate with and made sure everything was top notch. And Chris was very responsive to all of our requests and always returned our text messages right away. They were all a joy to have in and out of our home for the past three weeks. We highly recommend Cedrone Contracting and would definitely use them again.
We recently had water damage in our 3 room finished basement. ServiceMaster had remove wallboared in each of the rooms due to mold. Chris was recommended by our insurance company and he came over the next day. To our relief, Chris knew his stuff and we selected him to put our rooms back together . His employees and subcontractors were hard working, skilled and friendly. I highly recommend Cedrone Contracting for your next project!
