Central Cape Glass

When a Hyannis small-business owner needed a mirror cut down in a pinch, Central Cape Glass told them to bring it by that same day. That kind of quick turnaround for one-off glass jobs is what reviewers keep coming back to describe about this South Dennis company. The company's own website says it has 35 years in business, while BBB records list it as started in 2007, under 20 years, so the two accounts of its history don't agree. Shower door installation shows up most often in the reviews: Cory and Chip installed two shower doors in one customer's new home with what the reviewer called unmatched care, and another reviewer had a bathroom glass door measured and installed quickly and flawlessly. Matt and Connor replaced a broken window and cleaned up thoroughly afterward, and the company has also fixed a wall mirror for a Cape renter and helped a commercial property with glass work on short notice. In a 2023 review, one customer described a much slower experience getting glass tabletops and mirrors cut: after being told the job would happen "next week" twice, the crew didn't come out to measure the glass for ten days. Its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration also currently shows expired on the state registry, which is worth asking about directly before booking. The Better Business Bureau grades the company A+. For shower doors, mirrors, glass tabletops or window glass anywhere on the Cape, this is a specialist with a strong list of satisfied customers on quick jobs; confirm current licensing and a firm timeline before committing to a larger project.
